Angry Beavers Beats Cutters 4-1

Ronald Stockwell nails two goals, Angry Beavers scores three goals in the first, goes on to win

Angry Beavers defeated Cutters 4 - 1 at KCIC on Sunday. Angry Beavers outscored Cutters three to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Angry Beavers maintained its lead. Cutters's fate was sealed. In the final period Angry Beavers scored one goal adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

In the first period, Angry Beavers's Bret Woodson put the biscuit over the goal line with assists from Corey Piva and Jeff Janofsky, with 10:15 left on the clock. Pounding the defense, Ronald Stockwell scored a goal with an assist from Bret Woodson, with 6:32 left on the clock, pulling further ahead. Paving the way for Cutters, Bob Seymour put the puck between the pipes with 0:26 left in the period. Andy Crow got the assist on the goal. Paving the way for Angry Beavers, Ronald Stockwell scored a goal with 0:01 left in the period. Corey Piva and Jonathan Clague assisted on the goal, to move further ahead. In the third period, Angry Beavers turned up the pressure when Doug French put the puck in the net with assists from Ronald Stockwell and Tim French, with 8:00 left on the clock, pulling further ahead.

Having an impact in the game, Ronald Stockwell made two goals for Angry Beavers and also had one assist. Bret Woodson scored one goal for Angry Beavers and also had one assist. Doug French added one goal for Angry Beavers. Corey Piva made two helpers. Clague, French, and Janofsky each added one assist for Angry Beavers.

Bob Seymour added one goal for Cutters.

Leading the way for Angry Beavers, Troy Blank finished with 15 saves for the win. Cutters's Jeff Bowers turned away 19 shots and got the loss.

Angry Beavers ended their streak of three losing games and ended up with a record of 15-9. Cutters finished the game with a record of 10-15.
