Les Dujoix Narrowly Loses To BuzzKill 6-5

Josh West shines with two goals, BuzzKill produces shots to get the narrow victory

In a close game, BuzzKill triumphed over Les Dujoix 6 - 5 at KCIC on Sunday. BuzzKill outscored Les Dujoix three to two to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Both teams scored two goals in the second period but BuzzKill maintained their lead for the win. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but BuzzKill kept the lead for the win.

Having a huge day, Josh West scored two goals for BuzzKill and also two assists. During the first period, with 9:54 left West put the puck between the pipes with an assist from John Buzzelli. With 10:01 left to play in the second period West netted a power play goal. John Buzzelli and Ronnie Higgins assisted on this goal.

BuzzKill's Matt Ross had just 10 saves on 15 shots to take the win. Les Dujoix's Rex Husted had just 36 saves on 42 shots to get the loss.

BuzzKill ended their losing streak of two games and improved to a record of 10-15. Les Dujoix ended the game with a record of 15 wins and 9 losses.
