Chicago Dogs beat Cutters 6 - 2 at KCIC on Sunday. Chicago Dogs chalked up three straight goals to take the lead in the first period. Chicago Dogs added three goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Cutters added two unanswered goals in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.
Chicago Dogs's Jason Rohlf scored two goals for Chicago Dogs and also had one point. With 0:22 left to play in the first period Rohlf scored an unassisted goal. During the second period, with 9:40 left Rohlf put the puck in the net with an assist from Ryan Riley.
Showing off a strong glove, Chicago Dogs's Steven Bell had 20 saves to gain the win. Cutters's Jeff Bowers had just 37 saves on 43 shots to get the loss.
Chicago Dogs added to their current win streak of three games and ended the game with a record of 15 wins and 6 losses. Cutters ended the game with a record of 9-13.
