Les Dujoix Falls To Chicago Dogs 4-1

Ryan Riley nails two goals, Chicago Dogs more productive at shooting to get the victory

Chicago Dogs got the better of Les Dujoix 4 - 1 at KCIC on Sunday. Chicago Dogs scored one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Chicago Dogs added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. In the third period, Chicago Dogs outscored Les Dujoix two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

In the first period, Chicago Dogs got points on the board when Jason Rohlf scored a goal with assists from Jim Flanigan and Robert Popper with 0:50 left on the clock. In the second period, Chicago Dogs fired up the game when Ryan Riley put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Scott Nicholson with 7:00 left on the clock, to get further in the lead. In the third period, steaming onward, Chicago Dogs's Ryan Riley lit the lamp with assists from Dave Swearingen and Jason Rohlf, with 8:24 left in the period, pulling further ahead. Continuing the roll, Chicago Dogs's Corey Slinker put the puck in the net with assists from Jim Flanigan and Scott Nicholson, with 6:55 left in the period, moving further into the lead. Les Dujoix put points on the board with their game when Robert Spratford lit the lamp with 0:08 left in the period. Kyle Deeney assisted on the goal.

Contributing to the win for Chicago Dogs, Ryan Riley scored two goals for Chicago Dogs. Jason Rohlf scored one goal for Chicago Dogs and also had one helper. Corey Slinker tallied one goal for Chicago Dogs. Scott Nicholson earned two points. Jim Flanigan made two helpers. Swearingen and Popper each tallied one assist for Chicago Dogs.

Robert Spratford tallied one goal for Les Dujoix.

Les Dujoix's Rex Husted made 35 saves for the loss.

Les Dujoix was 0-for-1.

Chicago Dogs continued their current win streak of two games and ended up with a record of 14-6. Les Dujoix ended the game with a record of 12 wins and 8 losses.
