Angry Beavers Beats Out Les Dujoix 5-1

Doug French is leader with two goals and Angry Beavers scores game winning goal in the first, goes on to get the win

Angry Beavers beat Les Dujoix 5 - 1 at KCIC on Sunday. Angry Beavers chalked up one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, Angry Beavers outscored Les Dujoix two to one and kept the lead. It would prove to be too much for Les Dujoix. In the final period Angry Beavers scored two goals cementing the lead and winning the game.

In the first period, Angry Beavers got points on the board with their penalty kill when Bret Woodson put the puck in the net with an assist from Ronald Stockwell with 2:12 left on the clock for Angry Beavers. In the second period, next, Doug French put the biscuit over the goal line with 9:34 left in the period. Jeannine Leon and Jeff Janofsky assisted on the goal, to move further ahead. Next, Doug French put the puck in the net with 2:27 left in the period. Tim French got the assist on the goal, to get further ahead. Les Dujoix got things going when Stuart Weiner got the puck past goalie Troy Blank with an assist from James Heimbach, with 1:47 left in the period. In the third period, paving the way for Angry Beavers, Ronald Stockwell put the biscuit over the goal line with an assist from Gregory Cook, with 2:01 left in the period, moving further into the lead. Steaming onward, Angry Beavers's Jeff Janofsky got a goal with an assist from Tim French, with 1:34 left in the period, pulling further ahead.

Having an impact in the game, Doug French got two goals for Angry Beavers. Ronald Stockwell made one goal for Angry Beavers and also had one helper. Jeff Janofsky got one goal for Angry Beavers and also had one point. Bret Woodson tallied one goal for Angry Beavers. Tim French got two points. Cook and Leon each contributed one assist for Angry Beavers.

Stuart Weiner tallied one goal for Les Dujoix.

Having a huge impact in the game, Angry Beavers's Troy Blank turned away 18 shots for the win. Les Dujoix's Rex Husted had only 17 saves on 22 shots on goal to get the loss.

Les Dujoix ended the game with a record of 12-7.
