Les Dujoix got the better of Opossums 6 - 3 at KCIC on Sunday. Les Dujoix racked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Les Dujoix added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Both teams scored three goals in the third period but Les Dujoix kept the lead for the win.
Having a huge day, Stuart Weiner got two goals for Les Dujoix in addition to two points. Paving the way for Les Dujoix, Weiner put the puck between the pipes with 5:33 left in the second period with an assist from Joel Geran. With 7:17 left to play in the third period Weiner scored a power play goal with an assist from Paul Dennis.
Opossums's Jeffrey Smith had only 25 saves on 31 shots on goal to suffer the loss.
Adding to their victory, Les Dujoix went 1-for-3 on power plays. Opossums was 0-for-1.
Opossums ended the game with a record of 8-8.
