Red Rockets Defeated By BuzzKill 6-3

Robert Hauser slaps a hat trick while BuzzKill scores two goals in the first, goes on to get a victory

BuzzKill prevailed against Red Rockets 6 - 3 at KCIC Outdoor on Monday. BuzzKill scored two straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second period, BuzzKill outscored Red Rockets four to one and kept the lead. Red Rockets added two unanswered goals in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.

Having an outstanding day for BuzzKill, Robert Hauser earned the hat trick with three goals. With 9:05 left to play in the first period Hauser lit the lamp without assistance from team mates. Continuing their roll, Hauser put the biscuit over the goal line for a power play goal with 11:27 left in the second period. Nathan Litton got the assist on this goal. Adding another score for BuzzKill, Hauser lit the lamp with 2:46 left in the second period with an assist from John Cruz.

BuzzKill's Travis Collins turned away 21 shots to take the win. Red Rockets's Bob Klem had just 27 saves on 33 shots to suffer the loss.

BuzzKill went 1-for-1 on power plays.

BuzzKill added to their current win streak of two games and now has a record of 7-11. Red Rockets ended the game with a record of 3-13.
