BuzzKill Beats Chicago Dogs 7-4

Josh West knocks the hat trick while BuzzKill scores three goals in the second, goes on to get the win

BuzzKill beat Chicago Dogs 7 - 4 at KCIC Indoor on Sunday. BuzzKill and Chicago Dogs both scored one goal to end the first period tied. BuzzKill gained three straight goals in the second period to break the tie and take the lead. Both teams scored three goals in the third period but BuzzKill kept the lead for the win.

Turning in a great performance for BuzzKill, Josh West got the hat trick with three goals. With 5:11 left to play in the second period West scored a goal. Bobby Hauser and John Buzzelli assisted on this goal. Then West put the biscuit into the net with 4:27 left in the second period. Nathan Litton got the assist on this goal. BuzzKill pierced the defense when West put the biscuit into the net with 3:53 left in the third period. Andrew Litton assisted on this goal. In well played offense, Bobby Hauser netted two goals for BuzzKill in addition to two assists. BuzzKill's Hauser put the puck in the net without assistance with 3:08 left in the third period. During the third period, with 0:05 left Hauser lit the lamp without assistance from team mates.

BuzzKill's Matt Ross made 20 saves to get the win, despite being outshot 24 to 22 by Chicago Dogs. Chicago Dogs's Steven Bell had only 15 saves on 22 shots on goal and so suffered the loss.

BuzzKill ended the game with a record of 6-11. Chicago Dogs ended the game with a record of 11-6.
