Cutters Loses Close Game Against Les Dujoix 5-4

Jason Allinder shoots the hat trick, Les Dujoix scores two goals in the second, goes on to win narrowly on the road

In a tight contest, Les Dujoix handed a loss to Cutters 5 - 4 at KCIC Indoors on Sunday. Les Dujoix and Cutters both scored two goals to end the first period tied. In the second period, Les Dujoix outscored Cutters two to one and took the lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Les Dujoix kept the lead for the win.

Having an outstanding day for Les Dujoix, Jason Allinder got the hat trick with three goals. With 9:54 left to play in the first period Allinder put the biscuit over the goal line with assists from Paul Dennis and Joel Becker. Steaming onward, Allinder lit the lamp with 0:17 left in the first period with assists from Paul Dennis and Joel Becker. During the second period, with 10:50 left Allinder netted a third goal with assists from Paul Dennis and Terry Brennan.

Les Dujoix's Rex Husted blocked 22 out of 26 shots on goal to take the win. Cutters's Jeff Bowers had only 28 saves on 33 shots on goal and so suffered the loss.

Les Dujoix extended their winning streak to three games and ended up with a record of 12-6. Cutters ended the game with a record of 9 wins and 8 losses.
