Opossums Falls To BuzzKill 6-1

Andrew Litton impresses with two goals as BuzzKill scores two goals in the second, goes on to achieve victory

BuzzKill defeated Opossums 6 - 1 at KCIC Indoor on Sunday. Neither team managed to get the puck in the net in the first period. BuzzKill took the lead in the second period with two unanswered goals. In the third period, BuzzKill scored four goals to Opossums's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.

BuzzKill's Andrew Litton scored two goals for BuzzKill. BuzzKill's Litton got the unassisted goal with 7:44 left in the second period. During the third period, with 9:53 left Litton lit the lamp without assistance from team mates for a power play goal. BuzzKill's Robert Hauser scored two goals for BuzzKill. During the third period, with 8:57 left Hauser put the biscuit into the net with an assist from Adam West. During the third period, with 0:56 left Hauser put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Bobby Hauser.

Displaying a golden glove, BuzzKill's Matt Ross stopped 29 shots for the win. Opossums's Jeffrey Smith had just 28 saves on 34 shots for the loss.

BuzzKill went 1-for-2 on power plays.

BuzzKill ended their streak of three losing games and now has a record of 4-10. Opossums finished the game with a record of 7 wins and 7 losses.
